1. Overview
The ABB TP857 Display is an industrial-grade HMI touch panel designed as a core operator interface for full series ABB industrial automation and DCS control systems. As the human-machine interaction terminal of industrial production equipment, it visualizes real-time operating data, running status and fault information of on-site machinery, and supports operators to set parameters, send control instructions and trigger safety interlock operations directly through the touch screen.
This touch display panel is widely deployed in chemical production workshops, power plant control rooms, metallurgical furnace monitoring stations and automated assembly lines. It realizes two-way data communication with PLC, DCS controllers and drive units, simplifying daily equipment debugging, production monitoring and fault diagnosis work.
Built with industrial anti-glare touch glass and anti-electromagnetic interference circuit design, the TP857 HMI maintains stable touch response and clear screen output under dusty, high-vibration and wide-temperature factory environments. It serves as a standard replacement spare part for aging or damaged operator screens in all industrial process control scenarios.
2. Product Features
Clear Industrial Visual Display
The ABB TP857 HMI adopts high-brightness anti-glare display screen, which can maintain clear viewing effect under strong factory ambient light, and supports multi-data split screen simultaneous display to improve monitoring efficiency.
Stable Sensitive Touch Operation
Industrial anti-interference capacitive touch structure avoids touch failure caused by dust and static electricity; it supports multi-point stable touch operation, and the touch response is sensitive without delay for frequent daily operation.
Perfect ABB System Communication Compatibility
Native matching communication protocol with ABB DCS and PLC equipment, plug-and-play embedded installation, no additional signal conversion modules required, realizing seamless data transmission between terminal and control host.
Harsh Environment Adaptability
Integrated dustproof and anti-vibration cabinet structure, built-in EMI shielding circuit to resist interference from surrounding high-power motors and inverters, stable continuous operation 24/7 all year round.
Integrated Multi-Function Monitoring & Control
Integrates real-time data reading, parameter modification, historical fault query and overload alarm pop-up functions into one panel, reducing the number of auxiliary monitoring equipment inside control cabinets.
3. Structure and Composition
The ABB TP857 HMI touch panel adopts an integrated embedded industrial structure, consisting of high-brightness display module, industrial touch sensing layer, main signal processing board, industrial communication interface unit and sealed flame-retardant outer frame. The front panel is covered with wear-resistant anti-scratch touch glass to adapt to frequent repeated touch operations by on-site staff.
The internal main processing unit receives data signals from upper DCS and PLC controllers, converts digital data into visualized graphs, curves and numerical values for screen display. Meanwhile, touch operation instructions are converted into standard communication signals and transmitted back to the control system to realize closed-loop manual control. The fully sealed frame prevents dust and moisture from entering internal circuits and avoids short-circuit failure.
4. Application Fields
Power Plant DCS Central Control Room
Used as main operator touch screen for boiler, turbine and auxiliary equipment real-time data monitoring and parameter adjustment.
